From Champion Goat Shower To Paralympic Champion

Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: Grace Norman Exclusive

From ‘Champion Goat Shower’ to Paralympic Champion

Grace Norman, a British swimmer who was born with cerebral palsy, is a two-time Paralympic champion and world record holder.

She won gold in the 200m individual medley at the London 2012 Games and in the 100m breaststroke at the Rio 2016 Games.

The ‘Champion Goat Shower’

Norman’s Paralympic journey began in an unusual way.

When she was 11 years old, she was watching a TV show about a goat that had been crowned the “champion goat.”

Norman was inspired by the goat’s story and decided that she wanted to become a Paralympic champion.

Norman’s Paralympic Success

Norman has since gone on to achieve great success in the Paralympics.

In addition to her two gold medals, she has also won two silver medals and one bronze medal.

Norman is a role model for many people with disabilities, and she shows that anything is possible with hard work and determination.
