According to exit polls conducted by different organizations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to secure a clear majority in the upcoming elections. These polls suggest that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win more seats than the opposition parties.
Key Findings
The India Today-Axis poll predicts a strong performance for the BJP, with the party projected to win between 270 and 290 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha (lower house of parliament). Other exit polls, such as those conducted by NDTV and Republic TV, also show the BJP leading by a significant margin.
