Ubisoft has officially announced the release time and date for XDefiant, its upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter. The game will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on May 21st at 10AM PT, 1PM ET, and 6PM BST.
This news comes after a successful closed test period, where players got a taste of the game's fast-paced 6v6 firefights and unique faction-based gameplay. Ubisoft has listened to player feedback and made several improvements to the game ahead of its official launch.
XDefiant features a variety of characters, each with their own unique abilities and weapons. Players can choose from a variety of factions, including the Defiants, Renegades, and Wolves, each with their own unique playstyles.
The game will launch with a variety of maps and modes, including Domination, Escort, and Control. XDefiant also supports cross-play, allowing players on all platforms to compete against each other.
